Candy Corn Decor and more!

So it’s getting closer to fall and Halloween! I love Halloween! I even love that Halloween candy everyone either loves or hates: Candy Corn! I personally don’t like it, but it is a cheerful reminder to me of the fun of Halloween. Who hasn’t stuck them on your teeth like fangs. (You know you did!) Great colors for fall too. And, you know those house shaped surfaces Chalk Couture has? Turns out you can make them into other stuff, like…candy corn!

During this demonstration, you can also see that you can actually paint with paste! That’s how I added the solid colors on… with a good ol’ fashioned paint brush. I used the placement tape as a straight edge mask for each color. But I didn’t stop there, oh no. How about a little pattern accent for these babies? Why yes please. I think they are so cute, don’t you?

I used the Polka Dots transfer and the Herringbone transfer, House Cutouts and Bright White, Orange Peel, and Bumblebee chalk pastes. Tomorrow I’ll show you how I made the Leopard Pumpkin! Check out the video below to see how I created these cute Candy Corn decor items!

Stay safe and chalk on!
