So I saw what I thought was the cutest “little” tree at IKEA. I wanted something seasonal yet compact for the basement. Well, I guess I have to bone up on my reading comprehension skills cos, wow this thing turned out bigger than I thought.

Tree topper is out of the question. Oh well, at least I can fill it with Ornament Minis, right?
So here’s the first video in my Minis Series ( See what I did there? ) on creating my own Chalk Couture Ornaments for my big-ass basement tree! I used the Classic Ornaments and the Mini Buffalo Plaid transfers. I used Ornament Minis and Tag Minis I used Black Velvet, Shimmer Red, Shimmer Gold, and Bright White Chalk Paste. I also used the Fuzzing Towel, Stir Sticks, Self Healing Mat, Fine Mist Sprayer, Transfer Trimmers, and Mini Squeegees.

Check out the video below to see how I made these gorgeous ornaments.
Remember this is the first of a three part “Minis” Series. Check back for Part II tomorrow!
