Chalking on Textiles.

So did you know about chalking on textiles, like pillow covers and canvas banners? I love those custom pillows with designs I see on porch swings. And those banners. They’re a versatile decor item that goes with a style; and they’re so on trend right now. It’s so easy to add a little rustic feel with a Chalk Couture Hanging banner, some ink and a favorite transfer. It’s also easy to add embellishments… ribbons, beads, distress the edges…

So I wanted to let you know about a pretty awesome special going on right now. For the month of April, Chalk Couture is offering 50% off retail on banners. There is a small catch: this offer is for Club Couture members only!

What is Club Couture, you ask? Well it’s the coolest club you can be involved in. Each month you will get an exclusive B sized transfer and some paste singles to make a great project. This includes free shipping and an exclusive discount offer on other items. This month it’s 50% off select textile surfaces, like banners and pillow covers! Find out more and join up? Check out more info here.

Here’s a cool project I did with a 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 Pennant Banner and the House Patterns Transfer! I used Eucalyptus and Black Velvet Chalk Pastes. I also using the Fuzzing Towel, Transfer Trimmers, Fine Mist Sprayer, Stir Sticks, Color Trays and Mini Squeegees. See there is such thing as chalking on textiles. I think it turned out great and I have it hanging on my slat wall. Looking good!

Check out the video below to see how I made this fun project.

Stay Home. Stay Safe. Chalk On.
