Christmas Sheet Music Ornament with Joy to the World transfer

I’m always looking for new and simple crafting techniques to make nice, gorgeous decor for my home. Right now, I’m in Christmas mode, so today, I’ll show you how to make a great ornament with paper, a foam sphere and some Chalk Couture products.

This has to be one of the most useful transfers I’ve encountered thus far from Chalk Couture. It’s the Joy to the World transfer. Endless ways to use this one: as a background, or as the main design element, in whole or in parts, as I do here.

This basically involves chalking the Joy to the World Transfer onto paper, then cutting the paper into strips and gluing to a foam sphere. It was so simple and once I added some ribbon and sprig embellishments, it became a beautiful ornament. I can’t to fill my tree with them this Christmas.

Gorgeous aren’t they? I could also see adding sprigs of real rosemary to these instead of what I did here.

Check out the video below to see how I made this project.

And only mild glue gun burns this time, folks…Yay!

Stay safe and Chalk On!
