Yay! It’s time to move onto Valentine’s Day decor! In the meantime, here’s another Holiday project.
We’re nearly past the Christmas project season. (small yay) but I just love this transfer. It’s the Festive Bird transfer! The illustration is in the Hygge (pronounced hoo-ga) It’s a Danish word that means coziness – it is the ritual of enjoying life’s simple pleasures, making the ordinary more meaningful and being aware of a good moment. It’s characterized by simple, happy and whimsical designs that are intricate, yet not formal. Very much like farmhouse, but very comfy-cozy. Active fireplace, nice candles, big fluffy sweaters and blankets.

This project with it’s fun and happy design was done on a large round chalkboard that is no longer available. You can put it on the 18″ round gold frame with a different color, (I recommend rainforest) or on a 18″ White frame Silvie. I used bright white and shimmer gold paste as well as mini squeegee, fuzzing towel, fine mist sprayer and stir sticks. I think it turned out great. You could even embellish with greenery or ribbons.
