Pantry’s Open Transfer Yum!

So I just love coming up with new decor for my kitchen. Sometimes a simple design goes a long way and this is one of those times. And what better word to have in your kitchen than Yum!

So where did the word Yum come from? In my quick conversation with Professor Google, it seems Yum is based in Sanskrit, and often used during meditation to focus on good things while meditating. It also is seems it may just be a onomatopoeia, you know, those words that sound like what they are. Smash, crash, boom, yum! Wherever it comes from, it made it’s way into my kitchen and could very well be used when we have our favorite wings from our favorite bar.

This project was done with the Pantry’s Open transfer yum on a Board and Base. I cut apart the transfer and used the fork and the Yum! parts. I used Bright White chalk paste as well as the Fuzzing Towel, Transfer Trimmers, Fine Mist Sprayer, Stir Sticks, Color Trays and Mini Squeegees.

I think it turned out pretty good for a quickie project.

Check out the video below to see how I made this project.

Stay safe and Chalk on!
