Porch Decor is an Easy Attractive DIY item for your Home Decor

Welcome Porch Signs. A trendy must have for any porch. This farmhouse decor item has been a thing for a few years now and doesn’t really show any signs of going away. Such a simple concept. A four by 5 or 6 with the word Welcome on it. ( or anything else for that matter ) Paint it up alI nice and voilà, instant porch decor! They are typically freestanding wood signs, so no screwing or hanging necessary, Yay…Bonus! I have made a few front porch signs over time and Chalk Couture has been right on trend with several different porch sign designs, some with holiday themes, some with the simple welcome sign approach.

Right now, Chalk Couture has a couple options when it comes to porch signs. You can find the current offerings here. The coolest thing about the Chalk Couture offerings is the Add -On transfer that contains large icons to celebrate holidays, the changing of the seasons, and the things we enjoy. The elements of this cut-apart Transfer can be used individually or combined with other Transfers for custom projects. This Transfer was designed to work with the Farmhouse Welcome Signpost Transfer (item E2111102) and our Simple Shapes (item S2111104). When you create a sign for your front porch, try using the add-on images in this design to switch out your sign for different holidays and occasions all year long.

It’s so easy to make your own front porch welcome signs with Chalk Couture. It’s just like spreading butter on toast. Position the transfer on the wood, drag a small dollup of chalk paste across your transfer and the paste goes through the transfer screen and your design is now painted on the wood! Like magic and super easy. Here’s a great fall one.

Here’s one that’s a little more involved. Everyone loves items with sayings on them. Here’s the perfect mix and looks sharp too.

Stay safe and Chalk On!
