SQUIRREL!! Misadventures of working at home and Fa La La Trio transfer.

People probably have some misconceptions about working from home. Like, I’m sitting with my feet up in my fuzzy slippers sitting coffee all day. If I could disagree more before, today was the day to top them all.

My assistant and I were working as usual. We heard a crash and walking. Didn’t think anything of it since I have ongoing construction and I thought the contractors had arrived. Then, we heard another disturbance and more walking. So I decided to yell and see who it was. No answer. Well, after a few who’s there’s happened, we decided to bug out and call the Police.

Two Cops came and I explain the situation. They go in the house for a bit, and we sat in my car cos, well, it’s cold as b@lls out here. Then shortly, they come out and motion us to come in. They didn’t find anything… until they check an upstairs bedroom. And what did we find? Poop. A nice little deposit on each bed in each bedroom. Yikes. Having no pets, a whole new panic set in. SQUIRREL!! Loose in my house. Hiding somewhere waiting to jump out and scare the bejesus out of me. Ninja squirrels everywhere.

Yep, they’re plotting against me.

So while I’m trying not to jump out of my skin, and watching the traps, I thought I’d share a quick project with you. I recently created a nice seasonal design on a cute wooden sled from my favorite, Target Bullseye’s Playground. I used the Fa La La trio transfer. I used Candy Apple Chalk Paste. It was crazy quick and cute! I also used the Fuzzing Towel, Stir Sticks, and a Mini Squeegee.

So cute and easy, right?

Check out the video below to see how I created this easy quick seasonal project.

And pray for me, that the squirrel goes on his merry way and leaves us be. If I wake up with a squirrel wrapped around my head, you will hear me from wherever you are.
