Spooky Trees with Let’s Get Wicked, Mini Buffalo Plaid, Victorian Skull and Woven Plaid transfers

So just like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween, I thought I’d keep this project only barely creepy. They kinda reminded me of something from a Tim Burton film, like Nightmare Before Christmas. or Dr Seuss story.

If you’ve never seen The Nightmare Before Christmas, it’s a great movie. Tim Burton is a true artist.

I thought this was a unique take on Halloween decor. Rather than pumpkin cutouts, why not tree cutouts! Didn’t they turn out great? Buffalo plaid strikes again! And the woven plaid looks awesome too. What I really dig though is the spider!

I used our Tree Cutouts, Let’s Get Wicked, Mini Buffalo Plaid, Victorian Skull and Woven Plaid transfers. I used Bright White and Black Velvet Chalk Paste. I also used the Self Healing Mat, Transfer Trimmers, Fuzzing Towel, Stir Sticks, Small Squeegees, and Mini Squeegees.

Apothecary Label Transfer Fun

So we’re about to be besieged with Pumpkin Spice everything and I thought why not jump on the way too early Fall bandwagon and create some more Fall and Halloween decor. Earlier, you saw me create with the awesome Flying Lessons transfer. I also made some oh so cute Fall cut outs with the Pumpkin Patterns transfer. There are so many more Fall transfers to choose from, you’ll be chalking Fall ’til December! (check this out if you don’t believe me)

As you can see here, I created a door hanger using our Apothecary Labels which are in the LAST CHANCE section of my online store!!!! I mixed Shimmer Copper and Orange Peel to get the color I used on the transfers. I also used the Self Healing Mat, Fuzzing Towel, Stir Sticks, and Small Squeegee.

Flying Lessons Chalk Transfer

So guess what’s right around the corner…Halloween! Whether cute or creepy, it’s so much fun decorating for Halloween. What better way to represent Halloween than with a witch on a broomstick.

Flying Lessons transfer
The Finished Product. How cool is that?!

Today I created with the amazing Flying Lessons transfer. It is SOOOO amazing!!! I used Bright White Chalk Paste, Fig Chalk Paste, Shimmer Silver Chalk Paste, and Bumblebee Chalk Paste. I chalked the design on the Aiden 9×12 Board. I also used the Fuzzing Towel, Stir Sticks, Mini Squeegee and Multi Tool.
