Thankful and Blessed With Chalk Couture.

So it’s that time of year in America. Thanksgiving. It began as a day of giving thanks and sacrifice for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year.Β In similar form today, we celebrate the blessings of the year. We take time from our busy lives to get together with family and friends and celebrate us.

For me in particular, I have much for which to be thankful. I am fortunate that I continue to do well with Chalk Couture. Through my hard work and dedication and Chalk’s quality, relevant products, I am able to work what has become a smashingly successful at home business.

I fully provide for my family and my husband is able to enjoy his dream job.

My son is a happy, healthy teenage boy who’s doing well in school and enjoying basketball.

My whole heart. In one pic.

I am thankful that I am able to help others. I contribute to community charitable groups and my school district. I also support Chalk Couture’s favorite charity, Watts of Love. I love the idea of helping to provide such a simple necessity as a light source for those in rural or third world places with little or no electricity.

I am truly blessed with my family and friends. My Chalk Family is a true blessing. They are so supportive and caring. It’s amazing to have met and acquired such fantastic people in my life, I can’t even begin to describe it. ( particularly my assistant, who is the Bomb. Dot. Com. )

I have been able to make my house my dream home. No more looking at Farmhouse design magazines and dreaming. It’s reality here. Here are a couple of pics.

Here’s a walkthrough of the whole thing if you’re curious.

But let’s be not so serious for a sec. My success has also been a blessing for my habit: Collecting Rae Dunn stuff. I am OBSESSED, to put it lightly. Here’s a shot or two of my Rae.

Also thankful that Black Friday is a thing and I can continue my tradition of getting with my girls and shopping all day and night.

So I think I’ve about covered it. Happy Thanksgiving America. Take pause and reflect at some point in your day and enjoy.
