Throwback Thursday: Hello on Reverse Canvas

So here’s a fun fact. The stretcher bars on a typical painter’s canvas are actually very nice and make a great frame. You just have to remove the canvas, paint the frame, put the canvas back on the underside of the frame and create your design on the canvas to complete your project. And that is called reverse canvas. Not making sense? Just check out the video below to see exactly how I did it.

I used the Hello There transfer along with Black Velvet Chalk Paste and a Small Squeegee. I painted the Canvas with Americana Decor Chalky Paint Escape Color

Pretty cool method, huh? I just love it and have done many projects using the reverse canvas method. Endless possibilities.
